The app

Kinema stores video, measurements, notes and reports in a library folder on your Mac, or on a disk you choose. There is no account, no cloud upload and no analytics. The app connects to the internet only to activate your licence once (it sends the licence key and a random identifier for the Mac, nothing else) and to check for updates; neither sends any video or client data.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Our web host may keep standard server logs (IP address, page, time) for security, for a short period.

Pre-orders

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, who collects your name, email, billing country and payment details to process the order, issue your licence and handle tax and refunds. We receive your name, email and order details so we can send your licence and updates about your order.

Launch email

If you ask to be notified at launch, we keep your email address only for that, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the email itself.
